“Fanariotatika House” is named after the village close bye. The house belonged to a branch of the Fanariotis family, whose “Parachuklis” was “tou Kodou”. The original building was a charming “apothiki”, that was kept in its original shape. The rest of the property was built around it, enclosing it with a surrounding stone wall. Fanariotatica sleeps comfortably 8 guests, with considerable independence for all. Every bedroom door opens directly outside; in particular, the first two bedrooms share a small, secluded garden, planted with a larger Pomegranate and lemon trees.   

The living room is now at the centre of the built-up area, with openings on three sides for ventilation. A covered terrace opposite the living room is now at the centre of the daily life. The large kitchen is also furnished like a living room; it allows entertaining space for different generations, while others rest In the more private parts. 

The swimming pool, separated by a gate, is well removed form the bedrooms and living room; it has its own enclosed garden, that provides privacy for all involved.

You can find the village of Fanariotatica on Google maps: it is 1, 5 km from Gaios, the main village of Paxos. And 8 km from both the harbours Lakka and Loggos. It is a quiet, agricultural part of the island, with very little movement in the lanes near bye.  The house is just outside of the hamlet of Fanariotatica, surrounded by a stone wall. The private parking is inside the property.
