The house can accommodate up to 9 people. From early September to end of June, extra accommodations are available within the same property 200 meters further up the hill.

For example, there is a laundry with no less than three washing machines, so you can minimise your luggage and travel light. The Boston Whaler allows you to take to the sea and catch your own fish for dinner.
The bedrooms are relatively small and simple, but offer full en-suite facilities along with a fresh, cosy feeling that guests often praise.
But perhaps one of the most important ingredients of Arkoudaki holiday is the team of professional staff, which have been living on site for over twenty years and have their own cottage away from the guests to guarantee privacy.
We can organize a cook for you, that will have access to four large refrigerators in the cold store, plus a freezer, so can store any number of delicacies, including your latest catch. Three scooters and a Fiat Panda are based on site and allow the staff to run any errands for you, or fetch in additional supplies or special orders.
The staff are very proud of the house and gardens, and will warmly welcome you to Arkoudaki. They are totally reliable, and on hand at all times to make your stay as memorable as possible.

An English lady working alone with just two stonemasons built Arkoudaki in the 1970’s, a remarkable achievement as at the time the only access was from the sea. Nowadays, the house has retained all the charm of its remote location, and is entirely surrounded by the flora and coastal vistas of this charming part of the Mediterranean.
Whether you want to spend your day basking on the rocks beside the sea, or visit nearby Antipaxos in our fast and seaworthy 26ft Boston Whaler, Arkoudaki is geared to offer you supreme comfort and peace.
The current owners have spent the last thirty years improving and redesigning the house and gardens, always taking the utmost care not to spoil the natural beauty of the coastline. Expert landscaping means that only a small part of the building is visible from offshore, offering a very high level of privacy whilst still offering breathtaking views to seaward. In addition, great attention has been paid to maintaining the effective simplicity of the structure, so it melts almost seamlessly into its tranquil surroundings.
You can rent to take full advantage of the beauty of the island of Paxos, especially the sea caves, and of the nearby delight of Antipaxos, the 29-foot (9m) ‘Pikilos’, powered by a single 200hp diesel engine, and a 43-foot (13m) Orca sailing boat. No experience is necessary, as an experienced captain with an in-depth knowledge of the area will safely steer you to your desired location.
Whatever type of holiday you have in mind, Arkoudaki and her professional team will ensure you can make the most of every hour you spend there.
The house has a 22 steps cemented staircase leading straight to the pebble beach of Arkoudaki, and from there to the tented area by the flat rocks. This area is perfect for swimming and sunbathing.
The house is bordered on each side by cultivated olive trees, which help to enhance the natural environment. More olive trees have been planted on the eastern side, along with Cypress trees and gardenia bushes, where they surround a flat area scattered with cane chairs and with a large stone table in the center. On the west side, the green valley there is wild and natural, and can be enjoyed from one of a number of chairs around an old marble table.
For guests who enjoy spending time in the garden, or who love the natural environment around it, the best time to visit is in June.
